Sandra Antrobus, the owner and restorer of Die Tuishuise & Victoria Manor, has decorated each house and hotel room in its own distinctive theme, reminiscent of the lifestyles of the English and Dutch Settlers, and the ox-wagon artisans that lived in Market Street at the turn of the century. Period prints and antique furniture create elegant historic spaces. All the houses have names, some commemorate local writers like Olive Schreiner, Etienne van Heerden, Guy Butler and Iris Vaughan.
Houses range from two to six sleepers and consists of either one, two or three bedrooms that are equipped with double or two single beds as well as either one or two bathrooms. The units are equipped with a kitchenette that has a bar fridge and microwave as well as basic self-catering facilities. Guests have access to free and safe parking, DSTV, air conditioning (on request), fireplaces (on request) non-smoking rooms and free Wifi. We have a laundry service. Die Tuishuise has a wheelchair access room. We are child and pet friendly, please remember to request pet friendly accommodation.
